Dear MindShare Learning Community,
As we embark on the journey of the 17th anniversary issue (Volume 17, Issue 1) of the CanAm MindShare Learning Report, I am thrilled to celebrate International Women's Day alongside our myriad of innovations and insightful discussions captured in this edition. This milestone issue not only commemorates the unwavering dedication and intelligence of pioneering women in education but also encapsulates a diverse range of topics that mirror our commitment to transforming the educational landscape.
In the spirit of International Women's Day, our MindShareTV InnovateHERs Podcast Series Episode 12, co-hosted by Laura Smulian, features an empowering conversation with Dr. Jenny Zopf and Dr. Serrano Legrand from Penn Graduate School of Education. They delve into the importance of embracing an entrepreneurial mindset in education and beyond, highlighting the pivotal role women play in this arena.
This issue also shines a light on Randy Osei, the founder of Training Ground and EdTech Startup of the Year Winner, in our "This Week in Canadian EdTech MindShareTV Podcast." His insights provide an inspiring look at how innovation and dedication can lead to significant impacts in the educational technology sector.
Furthermore, in honor of International Women's Day, we have featured the inspiring C21 Canada Women Leaders in Canadian Education. Their passion and commitment to making a difference in the lives of students serve as a beacon of hope and progress in our continuous quest for equity and excellence in education.
Additionally, our report includes a spotlight on the 16th Canadian Schools of the Future 'Student Innovation' Challenge, a testament to our belief in the creative and transformative power of students. We invite new sponsors to join us in this endeavor as we launch this challenge on March 20th at the Dell Technologies Education Summit.
Our commitment to exploring the intersections of technology and education remains steadfast. We aim to empower educators, learners, and the EdTech community at large through innovative practices and discussions. This issue's featured articles, podcasts, and educational opportunities are a testament to our journey of discovery and innovation.
As we move forward, I encourage you to share this newsletter with your colleagues to inspire and propel innovation in education. Your support and collaboration are invaluable as we navigate the digital transformation and storytelling landscape together.
Thank you for being an integral part of our MindShare Learning community. Together, let's keep the digital learning curve steep and continue to celebrate the achievements and contributions of women in education and beyond.
