This Week in Canadian EdTech MindShareTV Podcast with
Best Selling Author, Angela Maiers, founder, Choose2Matter
in honour of International Womens Day #YouMatter

We trust you had a memorable International Women's Day, along with all the amazing and inspirational woman leaders, future leaders and learners we know.

Our day was certainly eventful with two inspiring MindShareTV Podcasts featuring the legendary keynoter, education leader, Angela Maiers, Choose2Matter and Dr. Narine Hall, Champlain College, Founder of InSpaceEdu, an educator designed platform that is an alternative to Zoom.

This week I can't help but reflect on the one-year anniversary since the COVID lockdown. The recent news from the Feds that Canadians should be fully vaccinated by end of June gives us hope for life to return to the 'new normal.'

It begs the question, what will school look like for fall 2021?

We've taken the opportunity to pull together a special FREE COVID Anniversary Expert Webinar, 'Reimagining the Future of School--Lessons Learning,' featuring our esteemed Mindshare Advisory board members, Friday, March 12, 4pm ET. Register here.

This issue incidentally marks our 14th year of publishing the MindShare Report. It's such an honour to be sharing and connecting with our Canadian and American education and EdTech industry colleagues, who collectively share an innovative spirit and passion for impacting student success. It continues to be 'hard fun' as one of my profs would describe the research and writing process.

I'm pleased to share that our monthly CanAm EdTech Report will take on an enhanced flavour with more North America-wide news, research and success stories as is evidenced in this issue. Our weekly Top 10 EdTech Reports will remain focused primarily on Canada.

Issue highlights:

  1. Complete our short Canadian Teacher Survey for us to get a pulse of where educators are at with their new modes of teaching & learning with technology. The results will be featured in an infographic
  2. The World Education Market Summit is fast approaching. We have a Special Canadian offer!
  3. Congrats to our Bitmoji Classroom Contest Winners!
  4. C21 Canada Board of Advisors welcome Chris Besse, Chief Commercial Officer, Edsby
  5. New! The MindShare Learning Institute--Professional Learning, Career Development, Events.

We are especially grateful during these challenging times for the valued support of our community: educators, parents, edleaders, sponsors, partners and advisory board members, and our team, who inspire excellence in everything we do and help make this report possible.

Please don't hesitate to reach out and share your stories, news and events with us! We love hearing from you!

Until next time, stay healthy, stay safe and keep the digital learning curve steep!
