Welcome to our December CanAm EdTech Report top news and highlights in learning & technology across North America.
Today's lead podcast with Marc Lijour, VP Capacity Building and Innovation, ICTC, was inspired by the recent spree of cyber attacks, including the most recent one on the Durham District School Board in Ontario that virtually paralyzed the District's communication and technology systems. Coincidentally, yesterday was International Computer Security Day. Marc speaks to the vulnerability of school systems and the need to be proactive in educating system stakeholders.
